The past eight weeks (Happy 8 week birthday Andrew!) have brought about a bunch of changes for poor Kinnick. Not only does he not get the attention that he once received, but sometimes he has to wait to go outside or get his dinner. He has been very patient and is so good with Andrew! During this time, he has learned that he needs to step up his game to get some attention.
1. He has learned to walk across the floor. This may not seem like a big deal, but as someone, who has been carrying a 17 pound dog, this is amazing. He doesn't want to be left out, so will now usually walk on the slippery floor!
2. He walks on walks! If you've ever been on a walk with Kinnick, you learn two things. A- He needs to lead you and B- they are slow and long. We've found that he must have needed a pace dog and that "dog" seems to be the stroller. We've been able to go on some long walks to enjoy the beautiful fall weather.
3. He will sleep anywhere. Last night, he curled up in the pile of our dirty clothes on the floor since we wouldn't allow him in bed with us. He has a bed in Andrew's room or sleeps on the couch. Since he doesn't use he kennel, we finally took it down to give us more room for baby things.
4. He'll finally play with toys to try to get us to play with him!
5. He jumped off our bed so as not to be left behind.
I think through this we can determine that some change is good! We love our Kinnie!
